Volunteer Spotlight: Mike and Jay
This month’s Volunteer Spotlight is on two of Feed Iowa First’s incredibly dedicated volunteers! You can find Mike and Jay at just about every volunteer function, usually fixing equipment (or putting it together), stacking compost, mixing soil — you name it, they can do it. Jay notes that volunteering with Feed Iowa First is a chance to “be outside and get a little exercise,” which is always a plus. He adds, “I might learn something, you never can tell.” Thank you, Mike and Jay, for always being willing to help with whatever Feed Iowa First needs.
